Take less things than you think you will need

The less - the better! Take half the clothes you think you will need because you won’t need as much as you think. Write down your list of essentials, cut it in half, and then start packing!

Bring a small towel

Apparently, a small towel doesn’t occupy too many space but might serve anywhere - whether it’s at the beach, on a picnic, or just to dry off.

Take extra things like credit cards and passports copies

Sometimes not so pleasant things as robbery can happen, especially in big cities. It’s always good to have a backup in this case. You don’t want to be stuck somewhere new without access to your funds. I also recommend making extra copies of your passport and other important documents.

Read a history about a place you visit

Try to know more about the destinations you are visiting. It will give you a deeper understanding of this place and thus you will have better understanding about present culture.

Avoid eating near a tourist attraction

As a general rule, food near tourist attractions is more expensive and the worse the food and service. If you walk further, I am sure you find a better value for money.

Try street food

Don’t fear street food, as e general rule is very delicious. If you are still scared, then look for places where kids are eating. If it’s safe for them, it’s safe for you.

Planes are dry. Take a cream with you

Planes are notoriously dry places with very low humidity level. If you are sensitive to dry plane air, which often causes dry nasal passages and can even trigger migraines, then take a cream or jelly Vaseline with you.

How to avoid a jet lag

If you want to avoid jet lag, slowly adjust your sleep schedule in the days before your flight to correspond with your destination. Preparing yourself before the flight will help to adjust and avoid sleepless nights.

How to get cheap mobile internet

I usually buy a local SIM card with internet. Having cheap internet access can make a lot of things, from navigating a new city to sending emails, making you work lot less stressful.
