Sometimes people can start with small projects that turn into solid and world known business, sometimes they face various obstacles on the way. But the way they overcome it is impressive and worth to be shared.

Howard Schultz
Many people probably heard of this name. Howard was an experienced marketer and while his trip to Milan he had an idea to market espresso cafes like they have all over Italy. His employer had no interest in owning coffee shops but agreed to finance his project called Starbucks.

First it was little personal project of young programmer called AuctionWeb. After he started to get a lot of traffic, he changed it to a business account and started to charge people fees.
Konosuke Matsushita
Did you know how did the company Panasonic started?
In Japan in 1917, a 23-year-old employee came up with idea of an improved light socket. As his boss didn’t believe in the idea, Konosuke started to work on it by himself and later expanded with battery-powered bicycle lamps and other electronic products. Matsushita Electric changed his name in 2008 to Panasonic, is now worth $66 billion.

John and Don were old friends from Brooklyn and first they started to sell beer in old bus, after first success they decided to risk and try to be soft drink distributors. Now we all know Arizona Green Tea drinks company, its number 1 among the biggest distributors in USA.
Matt Maloney and Mike Evans
When old friends and software programmers from Chicago were searching for a food delivery and didn’t find any service like this they decided to create one. Now their company GrubHub is now valued at more than $3 billion.
