1.Choose the product prize for your giveaway

Before the launch you should think about the product, service, or experience you'll giveaway. This will vary depending on your goal -- if you want to spread awareness around a product launch, for instance, you'll likely want to giveaway that specific product as your prize.

2.Determine the goal and criteria for your contest.

According to a giveaway goal (increase in website traffic, more followers, an increase in engagement, or a boost in sales) – the strategy can differ too. if you simply want to spread brand awareness, you might ask each participant to like your post and comment with the name of a friend.

Don’t forget to determine how long your participants have to complete your requirements by putting a time limit in your caption. Always add "Giveaway Closed" at the end of that time. The time-limit will create a sense of urgency, and incentivize followers to engage with your giveaway more quickly

4.Promote it!

To ensure more people see the contest, cross-promote it to your Instagram Stories, your Facebook group or page, your newsletter, or in your store.

5.Launch and pick your winner

There are a few tools you can use to choose the winner, for example by using a free number generator.

You can simply count the total number of participants who engaged with your giveaway, and then use a number generator to select your winner.

Important rule
